Oh hey! Thanks for inviting me to your Super Bowl party! It’s so cool that you do a bottle share every year on the day of the big game! Hopefully everyone can call off work tomorrow, right?! Why isn’t the day after a national holiday anyway?
Did I bring anything to contribute to the share? You bet I did! I actually scored this really good bottle of limoncello from a friend who went to Italy recently. I think it will be the perfect addition to all the palate cleansers we have between pours.
I don’t know about you, but personally, the tasty treats between all these beers are the best part of the bottle share! I mean sure, these are the best beers that you guys have waited all year to open, and some of them are super rare and highly sought after, but I just love how creative these snacks keep getting! If we’re being honest, I don’t even really follow craft beer at all. I’m really just here to munch.
Do you know how expensive some of these snacks are!? This pour of limoncello will probably only last 30 seconds, yet this bottle was $95! Insane! And don’t get me started on the charcuterie board. I bet it cost a pretty penny for it to be the first grub of the day. That might be my favorite so far; those crackers were delicious.
Even the water is carefully thought of! Come on, now that is some gourmet shit right there. Pellegrino?! Shut the front door. Don’t waste good beer on me when this stuff is sitting on the table untouched! I can’t wait to talk about this at the office tomorrow.
Do I want coffee? Yes please! The ultimate entremet. Clears all your senses, gives you a second lease on life. I’m sure your pastry stout will pair great with a cup o’ joe, but just madeleine cookies for me, please.
Just in time for halftime too! This will assure I stay up for the remainder of the share and make it to dessert.
Unless anyone has cocaine.
